Tribu del Asfalto, the fourth release of this working band since 2005 features their live work while presenting new material that focuses on collective interaction and inter-webbed percussive textures. The music tries to seek a more tribal sound at the same time that it embraces complex rhythmic structures, while the improvisations are almost always collective letting individuals come out as part of the topography of the music. This is contrasted in the four solo tracks (named after each player) where each member is featured at the beginning or ending of a piece.
